This shirt was inspired by a well-known Afrikaans nursery rhyme about how unique elephants are. Here are a few facts about elephants you might not have known:

• Elephants eat up to 16 hours per day and consume around 50 tonnes of food every year.
• Elephants can’t jump because their leg bones point downwards, meaning there is no spring-type motion that would allow them to jump without hurting themselves.
• Elephants use mud as sunscreen!
• Elephants are known to naturally swim and use their trunk as a snorkel to breathe when underwater.
